Seaga acquires Three Square Market to expand micro markets

Seaga Manufacturing has acquired Three Square Market, aiming to broaden micro market capabilities for convenience services operators.

Seaga Manufacturing Inc. has acquired micro market technology provider Three Square Market in a deal announced May 11 by private equity firm Dominus Capital, L.P., which owns Seaga.

Dominus Capital said the acquisition is intended to strengthen Seaga’s capabilities in micro markets and expand its integrated unattended retail ecosystem, including vending and intelligent inventory control solutions.

Cantaloupe Inc. acquired Three Square Market in December 2022. As part of 365 Retail Markets’ acquisition of Cantaloupe Inc., first announced in June 2025 and finalized on May 11, 2026, the Federal Trade Commission required 365 Retail Markets to divest Three Square Market to address anti-competitive concerns related to micro-market kiosks.

Three Square Market offers micro market kiosks, software platforms, secure payment technology, and market design and build services. The company’s tools support deployments across workplaces, campuses, health care facilities, hospitality locations and other high traffic venues.

Dominus Capital said the combined businesses will offer operators a more complete unattended retail platform designed to support scalable solutions that include vending, micro markets and inventory control systems, with advanced data insights.

“The addition of Three Square Market accelerates our technology roadmap and strengthens our ability to support the evolving needs of convenience services operators,” Mike Freund, Seaga’s CEO, said in a release.
