Why you should consider attending The NAMA Show in New Orleans

July 28, 2021

The NAMA Show is setting up to be a great industry event in New Orleans, just under a month from now.

Besides the obvious – networking opportunities, incredible NOLA cuisine and a wonderful live music scene, here are four good reasons to attend the 2021 NAMA Show.

1) The technology – This show is setting up to be a technological wonder. From micro market retail technology to new OCS solutions to some of the most compelling vending machines you will ever see. Manufacturers have been busy over the past year, dreaming up some creative ideas and New Orleans is the place to see it all.

2) The products – As micro markets growth continues, a whole new generation of food, beverages and snacks are being rolled out to meet the demand. Again – this is the place to see it all.

3) The education – There are plenty of opportunities to learn at the NAMA Show, but we want to especially turn your attention to two of the pre-conference sessions, Tuesday, August 17.

Conquering the New Micro Market Frontier – features Fixturelite cofounder Steve Orlando, in what promises to be a presentation full of valuable take-aways for experienced operators and newcomers to the micro market world.

9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Conquering the New Micro Market Frontier Micro market growth has exploded, and the opportunities for expansion are tremendous. This session will outline advanced approaches to operating new locations, market design, product selection, and software. The future-focused lessons will equip your business to take advantage of the emerging unattended retail market. Presented by Steve Orlando, President & CBDO, Fixturelite Gregory McCall, chief revenue officer, Five Star Food Service

Selling Convenience Services: A Playbook for Sales Professionals – features industry consultant and a regular contributor to the Micro Market Design Newsletter, Bob Tullio, who promises an engaging and interactive presentation designed to provide a formula for sales success.

 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Selling Convenience Services: A Playbook for Sales Professionals An elite sales team is essential to profitability. Through a series of interactive exercises, industry veteran Bob Tullio will reveal key principles that are crucial for an effective sales program. Participants will leave this session with 25 powerful strategies to implement. Empower your sales team and get new reps pointed in the right direction! Presented by Bob Tullio, Owner, Tullio B2B.

4) The Fixturelite exhibit on the showroom floor  – “When they walk into the Fixturelite booth on the showroom floor, operators will walk into an experience, not a sales pitch,” said Orlando.

“We want our visitors to feel the customer experience in an optimum workplace environment,” he added. “We're also not there to info-dump. We are there to find out how we can, or can't help an operator with their business, and to determine if we're on the same page with them. If we are, then that likely means increased success, a new beginning and an opportunity for that operator to elevate their game.”

“We always do the best we can to make our NAMA Show booth an attraction and one that promotes engagement with operators. We do something special every year and this year will be no exception. We will be showcasing features that can help operators capitalize on retail strategies that work.”
