Bimbo Bakeries USA relocates corporate base from Pennsylvania to Texas
Bimbo Bakeries USA is relocating its corporate headquarters from Horsham, Pa., to the Dallas area, a move the company expects will strengthen alignment across its U.S. operations and support long-term growth. The baking company said the shift puts leadership closer to a major operating region and to Grupo Bimbo’s global corporate office in Mexico City.
The new headquarters is located at 5525 MacArthur Blvd. in Irving, Texas. Bimbo Bakeries USA said that senior leaders and other employees are already working from the site and that it will continue to recruit for additional corporate roles there.
The Dallas-Fort Worth area is a significant market where Bimbo Bakeries USA already operates multiple bakeries, sales centers and distribution facilities. The company also pointed to the region’s business environment, talent pool and infrastructure as factors supporting future growth. Bimbo Bakeries USA noted that its history in Texas began in 1998, when Grupo Bimbo entered the U.S. market by acquiring Mrs. Baird’s Bakery.
While moving its headquarters, the company said it will maintain a presence in the greater Philadelphia region through its Conshohocken Sales Center and regional operations.
