CPG personnel changes: Campbell’s names snacks chief; Kraft Heinz taps North America president
CPG personnel changes at several food-and-beverage companies recently reflect a continued focus on category growth, North American execution and leadership continuity in key corporate functions.
Campbell’s appointed Mohit Anand as executive vice president and president, snacks, effective February 23, 2026. Anand will lead a portfolio that includes Goldfish, Pepperidge Farm, Snyder’s of Hanover, Lance, Kettle Brand, Cape Cod, Snack Factory and Late July, according to the company.
Reporting to Mick Beekhuizen, president and CEO, Anand will become a member of Campbell’s operating committee and serve as an executive officer. He succeeds Elizabeth Duggan, who is leaving the company. Duggan joined Campbell’s in 2019 as chief transformation officer, later led the company’s Canadian business as president, and was appointed executive vice president and president of the snacks division in May 2025.
Campbell’s said Anand brings more than three decades of experience across food, beverage and consumer packaged goods roles globally. He joins the company from Kellanova, now part of Mars Inc., following a recent acquisition. Campbell’s said Anand most recently served as senior vice president and general manager in the Accelerator division of Mars Snacking and was part of the integration team. Prior roles included leading Kellanova’s frozen food business in Chicago, leading Kellogg’s snacks business in Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and leading Unilever’s water and beverages businesses based in London. He began his career at Procter & Gamble, spending 15 years in senior marketing and general management roles across Asia.
Separately, Kraft Heinz said Nicolas “Nico” Amaya will become president, North America, effective February 23, 2026, leading strategy, operations and performance across the company’s largest market. Pedro Navio, current president, North America, stepped down on February 22 to pursue other opportunities, though he will serve as an advisor through March 6, the company said.
Kraft Heinz said Amaya most recently served in senior executive roles at Kellanova and previously held leadership positions at Kellogg after joining the company in 2001. Kraft Heinz said his background spans U.S. and Latin America roles across cereal, frozen and snacks businesses, and includes earlier marketing roles at Unilever Andina.
At Coca-Cola Co., the board elected Todd Beiger as a vice president, and the company said Beiger will become vice president and head of investor relations effective March 31, succeeding Robin Halpern. Beiger currently serves as CFO for Costa Limited within Coca-Cola’s Europe operating unit. Coca-Cola said he joined the company in 2001 and has held leadership roles across finance, including work tied to refranchising U.S. bottling territories, as well as prior investor relations experience.
Sara Lee Frozen Bakery also announced a CEO transition, naming Peter Laport as CEO. He succeeds Craig Bahner, who is stepping down.
Sara Lee Frozen Bakery said Laport most recently served as CEO of Arctic Glacier Premium Ice and previously held senior leadership roles at Bakkavor USA, Ready Pac Foods/Bonduelle Fresh Americas, Dunkin’ Brands, Revlon and Nestlé.
