Legacy Bakehouse taps Lauren Davis to guide baked snacks growth strategy
Legacy Bakehouse has named Lauren Davis its chief financial officer as the contract manufacturer continues to expand its baked snacks business through acquisitions and facility investments. Legacy has owned the well-known vending brand Classic Cookie since acquiring Mannon Specialty Foods Inc. in 2023.
According to the company, Davis brings extensive financial leadership experience in the food industry, including serving as CFO of Sokol Custom Foods. Davis will oversee all financial operations and work with the executive leadership team to support Legacy Bakehouse’s expansion.
Davis joins Legacy Bakehouse during a period of rapid growth as the company executes an acquisition-led expansion plan, the company said in a statement.
For convenience services operators, the stronger financial oversight could support long-term pricing stability and planned capacity increases for cookies and baked snack components used in vending and micro markets.
