Five Star Breaktime Solutions acquired MasRo Food Services LLC, Foley, Ala., an operator providing vending, micro market, coffee, pantry and snack box services to customers across the Gulf Coast region.

Founders Alexandra Rolon and Michael Masters grew MasRo Food Services from ASAP Vending, an operator they purchased in 2022. That company had served the Gulf Coast region since 2007. Rolon and Masters focused on customer satisfaction to form strong relationships within the local business community. They also rebranded and worked to expand MasRo’s geographic reach and service capabilities.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Alexandra and Michael to the Five Star family,” said Pat Barger, director of mergers and acquisitions at Five Star Breaktime Solutions, in a release. “Their commitment to quality service and community values aligns well with Five Star’s mission…[and] this acquisition allows us to further enhance our operational strength in the Gulf Coast region.”

Five Star will integrate MasRo’s operations into its Pensacola and Mobile branches, the company says. MasRo’s merchandiser and one owner will join Five Star to ensure a smooth transition and provide ongoing local support.
