Sugar Foods Corporation, a food company serving prominent foodservice, grocery, retail and restaurant brands, announced the appointment of Andriy Avramenko, an accomplished financial leader and industry veteran, as chief financial officer, effective immediately.
Avramenko brings to Sugar Foods nearly 30 years of experience leading corporations in the food and beverage industry. He joins Sugar Foods from Coca-Cola Icecek (CCI), a bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company, where he served as chief financial officer for more than four years. At CCI, Avramenko led the company’s financial and corporate strategy development, effectively positioning CCI as the fastest growing and most efficient bottling partner in the Coca-Cola system. Prior to CCI, Avramenko held numerous executive leadership roles at The Coca-Cola Company, where he oversaw complex M&A transformations and subsequent integration processes.
Avramenko will lead Sugar Foods’ finance team, working closely with Chief Executive Officer Marty Wilson and President Andrea Brule to support its strategic growth efforts.
“I am delighted to welcome Andriy to Sugar Foods’ leadership team,” Brule said in the announcement. “Andriy’s leadership track record, highly relevant industry experience and deep expertise implementing successful productivity initiatives will be invaluable as we continue to capitalize on the value creation opportunities in front of us. I am confident that Andriy is the right next leader to support our finance team, and I look forward to working with him to accelerate our innovation, drive long-term growth and build upon our organizational capabilities and talent development program.”

Sugar Foods has a long legacy of unrivaled innovation with an established advantage of serving some of the most exciting industries and consumer end markets. As the company continues to focus on its long-term strategic priorities, I look forward to working with Marty, Andrea, and the rest of the team to double down on execution, strengthen the company’s financial foundation and unlock new value for customers.”
