Nestlé announces new production site in Ukraine

Nestlé announced it is investing 40 million Swiss francs in a new production site in western Ukraine. The new plant is expected to help increase production of cold sauces, seasonings, soups and instant foods and will supply the domestic and European markets.

The plant will become Nestlé’s European regional hub for food and culinary products and expects to add 1,500 new jobs.

According to the company statement, Nestlé continues to expand in Ukraine, support the growth of the Ukrainian economy and provides jobs.

In addition, Nestlé says it has donated more than 4,000 tons of products to support Ukrainians both inside the country and in neighboring countries where Ukrainian refugees are located.
