Jan. 6, 2022

Utz Brands Inc. this week reported interim IRI MULO-C retail sales trends for the periods, ended Dec. 26, to correct inaccurately low previously reported syndicated data due to missing new items.

For the four-week period, ended Dec. 26, company’s retail sales as measured by IRI MULO-C increased 14.2% versus the same period last year and increased 11.2% on a two-year CAGR basis, compared with the same period in 2019.

For the 12-week period, ended Dec. 26, Utz's retail sales measured by IRI MULO-C rose 11.2%, versus the same period last year, and increased 10.5% on a two-year CAGR basis, compared with the same period in 2019.

One of the geographies available from IRI, a provider of big data and predictive analytics, MULO-C stands for “Multi Outlet with Convenience Stores." It represents data from a variety of retail channels, including food and grocery, drug, mass merchandisers, Wal-Marts, club stores (BJs and Sam’s) and dollar stores, along with military DECA (commissaries) and convenience stores.
