Kraft Heinz to combine U.S. and Canada businesses to form North America zone

Kraft Heinz Co. announced this week it will combine the company's U.S. and Canada businesses to create a North America zone, expected to be in effect in the second fiscal quarter of 2022.

The food company said the move is meant to advance its long-term, sustainable growth plans first outlined at its investor day event in September 2020. The company’s U.S. and Canada businesses accounted for about 80% of its 2020 consolidated net sales.
