Compass Group Names Palmer Brown CFO

Compass Group plc has appointed Palmer Brown chief financial officer designate and a director of the company effective immediately.

He will assume the role of chief financial officer on Nov. 1 and will also join the multinational contract foodservice and vending giant’s Corporate Responsibility Committee.

Palmer is currently Chertsey, England-based Compass Group’s commercial director and served as interim chief financial officer for a period from 2018 to 2019.  He succeeds Karen Witts who will step down as chief financial officer and as a director of the Compass Group on Oct. 31.
