Primo Water North America has acquired the assets related to the home and office delivery business of Health Waters of Pennsylvania, according to an announcement by parent company Primo Water Corp.
The acquisition is expected to increase Primo's route density and expand its Mountain Valley product offerings in the Northeast. The new customer base overlaps Primo's existing infrastructure in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, and encompasses a population of about 6.5 million residents.
"We are excited to acquire this additional Mountain Valley customer base in the Northeast," said Primo chief executive Tom Harrington. "The acquisition improves customer density in the region and furthers our vision of providing pure-play water solutions whenever, wherever and however our customers want them."
Headquartered in Tampa, FL, Primo Water Corp. is a water provider in North America, Europe and Israel. Primo products include purified, spring and mineral water. It provides pre-filled and reusable containers to more than 13,000 locations and water refill units to 22,000 locations. It also offers water filtration units in 21 countries.
