Primo Water North America, a wholly owned subsidiary of direct delivery giant Primo Water Corp., has acquired substantially all of the assets The Sweetwater Co. Inc., according to an announcement released today.
The Sweetwater Co., dba Earth2O, is a bottled water company based in Oregon. Earth2O is known for its commitment to sustainable water, environmental responsibility and natural, pure spring water from Oregon's Cascade mountain range.
Earth2O manufactures and distributes spring water to residential and retail accounts throughout the Pacific Northwest. The company was founded in Culver, OR, in 1991. The acquisition will add approximately 9,000 customers to the Primo network.
Earth2O products will continue to be offered and in addition to Sierra Springs, the Primo water brand in the region.
Headquartered in Tampa, FL, Primo is a water solutions provider in North America, Europe and Israel. it provides pre-filled and reusable containers to more than 13,000 locations and water refill units to 22,000 locations. It also offers water filtration units in 21 countries.
