Peter West, currently managing director of Coca-Cola Amatil in Australia, will become vice president and general manager for the newly created Australia, Pacific and Indonesia business unit to be named Coca-Cola Europacific Partners.
The new unit combines Coca-Cola Amatil and Coca-Cola European Partners, which is acquiring Amatil.
West will also join the executive leadership team of Coca-Cola European Partners. CCEP’s leadership teams of existing business units and central functions remain unchanged.
The new business unit’s operations include Australia, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, and New Zealand Fiji and the Pacific Islands.
Coca-Cola European Partners chief executive Damian Gammell said West has a “great understanding of the Coca-Cola business in the region.”
West brings 30 years’ experience with major consumer brands, including Lion's Dairy and Drinks, Mars Inc. and Arnott’s Biscuits.
