AMCON Distributing Co. (NYSE American: DIT) announced fully diluted earnings per share of $4.33 on net income available to common shareholders of $2.4 million for its second fiscal quarter, ended March 31.
The company said its wholesale distribution segment had revenues of $366.2 million and operating income of $4.4 million for the second quarter. The retail health food segment reported revenues of $12.3 million and operating income of $0.7 million.
AMCON’s ales for the 2021 second quarter increased to $378.5 million, from $337.9 million reported for 2020’s same period.
Headquartered in Omaha, NE, AMCON Distributing Co with its wholly owned subsidiaries is a wholesale distributor of consumer products, including tobacco products, candy and other confectionery, beverages, foodservice and groceries, along with paper, automotive and health and beauty care products.
The company operates 21 retail health food stores in Florida and the Midwest.
