Vending industry veteran Chuck Treister is teaming up with Professional Vending Consultants Inc. to broker the sales of businesses during the difficult Covid-19 period, according to an announcement by PVC president Marc Rosset. The partnership pairs two experts in the valuation and sales of convenience services business.
Treister is president of U.S. Vend Management LLC, a consultancy, where he’ll remain while working separately with PVC. He has 30-plus years’ industry experience, which includes two stints at Crane Merchandising Systems and an executive post with MAB Services, at one time the largest vendor in Los Angeles. He has consulted for Volkswagen of America, 3M, Nayax, USA Technologies, Fastcorp, Southern Food Services and Price Waterhouse Cooper, among others.
Rosset is founder of PVC, a specialized intermediary for acquisitions of full-line vending, foodservice and office coffee operators in the U.S. He reports that PVC has managed more than 310 business sales since 1993.
Under their collaboration agreement, Treister and Rosset will act as intermediaries to manage the processes for buyers and sellers. According to Rosset, the duo has made deals with purchasers who now desire more transaction options than in normal times. “And the prices being discussed, historically, are amongst the highest offered in our industry,” he said.
