Automated Merchandising Systems, Inc. President To Retire

Sept. 4, 2018

After over 20 years at Automated Merchandising Systems, Inc., our President Sharon Shull has announced her retirement. Although we are sad to see her go, we are grateful to have worked alongside her for so many years and for the impact that she has had amongst our staff and families , as well as throughout the vending industry over the years. Sharon is a pioneer of the vending industry, having dedicated her life to both the industry and to the companies she has proudly represented.

Sharon first began her career at Dixie Narco in 1970 under the tutelage of Mr. Bill Ural, where she became Office Manager and later the Director of Sales for the Eastern Division. Later, as the Vice President of Sales for the Easter Division and Inside Sales Manager, Sharon was instrumental in the success of Royal Vendors founded by Mr. Roy Steeley in 1987.

In 1997, along with Mr. Steeley, she helped form Automated Merchandising Systems, Inc. (AMS) where she began her career as Sales Director and later became President, building a platform for AMS to become one of the most recognized and successful brands in the Vending Industry. While we are sure that Sharon will be enjoying her retirement, she will remain a shareholder at AMS and will continue to be an ambassador of AMS and attend industry functions.

We wish Sharon and her husband Lewis all the best, and thank her for everything she has done in her time here. She will be dearly missed by her entire AMS family.
