New Jersey College Escapes No-Bid Vending Contract Charge, Faces Other Claims

Aug. 21, 2018

Kean University in Union, NJ, has evaded claims that the school violated public bidding laws against its longtime former vending provider, according to Law 360. It was insinuated that the college had awarded a no-bid contract to a rival company. A Superior Court Judge granted in part motions to dismiss the claims.

However, the college is facing other claims related to a supposed kickback scheme.
