Cocoa On The Rebound In Ghana

Aug. 16, 2018

Cocoa is making a comeback due to climate conditions in the region of top grower, Cote d’Ivoire, according to All Africa. This is important as previously conditions in climate has hindered the growth of cocoa in its top producing countries. The decrease in rainfall played an important part in Cocoa’s rebound in the market.

Coffee, however, experienced a decline as a bad harvest in top growers has forced market participants to roll out of the September contract into the December contract.
