Route Driver Makes News For Being Emergency Hockey Goalie

Dec. 12, 2017

A vending route driver is making headlines this week as an emergency backup goalie for the St. Louis Blues Hockey Team. Tyler Stewart, a Blue's season-ticket holder warmed up with the team and dressed to replace goalie Jake Allen, watching the game from the dressing room, according to the Associated Press. The Blues requested Ville Husso from AHL San Antonio to play, but Husso was not able to arrive until the end of the first period.

While Stewart didn't get to play he called it a dream come true.
