Keurig Green Mountain Closes California Plant

Keurig Green Mountain told employees at the Castroville, CA manufacturing and distribution center that it will be closing the plant July 3, 2017, according to news source MyChamplainValley. All 183 employees will be laid off, although the source also notes the company is offering for some employees to be transferred or retrained. The closing was called a "corporate decision" but there has been no official statement from the Keurig Green Mountain.
