Video Surveillance Leads To Charges In North Carolina Vending Machine Break-Ins

According to a news release from the Clay Country Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina, video surveillance has helped lead to charges in vending machine break-ins in the area, reports the Citizen-Times. Video surveillance distributed to other law enforcement agencies and posted on social media sites showed a male subject exiting a vehicle and breaking into a vending machine in Hayesville, NC. The Macon County Sheriff’s Office also obtained warrants against the suspect for similar incidents.

Clay County authorities charged Dustin Jake Cabe with three counts of felonious breaking and entering of a coin/currency operated machine, three counts of misdemeanor larceny and three counts of injury to personal property, the source reports.
