Feb. 19, 2016

(CHICAGO) February 16, 2016 — As excitement ramps up for NAMA’s 2016 OneShow, Chicago VIPs are welcoming attendees with open arms, including Chicago Cubs Executive Chairman, Tom Ricketts.

“In a city this size, large companies and businesses take center stage and the most press. But the backbone of Chicago, as well as the rest of the country, is supported by the small business owner,” Ricketts wrote in a welcome letter to attendees. “Many times, these small businesses are family owned and operated. It is through the hard work of these families that business have grown and flourished.”

“I hope your time in Chicago and at OneShow will provide you with the opportunity to make invaluable connections that will help your business grow,” Ricketts continued. He also invited attendees to visit historic Wrigley Field, noting, “If you have some time, I welcome you to visit my family business at Clark and Addison. I hear the bison dogs are pretty good.”
