Kansas Lottery Seeks Permission To Sell Tickets From Vending Machines

Jan. 29, 2016

The Kansas Lottery is seeking permission from state legislators to sell tickets from vending machines, KMBC reports. The reform would allow more than 300 retailers to use vending machines to market tickets, according to The Topeka Capital-Journal. Usage of the machines would reportedly reduce customer wait times and allow merchants to better track ticket inventory.

A hearing on the bill was postponed.
