(CHICAGO) January 26, 2016 – NAMA’s Nutrition Advisory Council (NAC) participated in a virtual meeting last week to review the current nutrition landscape, including the release of USDA’s Dietary Guidelines and their impact on the industry, as well as nutrition program developments for 2016.
“The industry is very fortunate to benefit from the leadership of NAMA’s Nutrition Advisory Council,” said Roni Moore, NAMA’s Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations.
“Chaired by NAMA Board Member Sylvia Rowe, the NAC is comprised of nationally-recognized nutrition leaders. Throughout the year, NAC members provide expert guidance for NAMA’s wellness efforts, including FitPick®, the industry’s signature nutrition initiative,” she said.
