Coca-Cola Ends Talks To Invest In Chobani LLC

Oct. 19, 2015

Coca-Cola is no longer interested in adding Chobani to its portfolio, according to Reuters UK which reported that the global beverage giant has ended talks to invest in the Greek yogurt company after deciding the product was not “the best fit for its portfolio.”

Coca-Cola and PepsiCo were competing for an investment in Chobani, the source reports, and other companies such as WhiteWave Foods Co expressed interest as well.

Coca Cola has recently made other investments such as purchasing minority stakes in Keurig Green Mountain and Suja Life, CNBC reports.
