Five Star Food Service Profiled In Chattanooga Times Free Press

Chattanooga, TN-based Five Star Food Service has nearly tripled in sales since Alan Recher took the helm in 2008, reports Chattanooga Times Free Press. The company has become one of the biggest independent food vending distributor in the South.

"We'd like to double again in the next five years," Recher is quoted as saying. Already the company employees more than 900 people in 14 branches located in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Kentucky. Five Star, the largest franchisee of Canteen Vending, has made more than 20 acquisitions in the last four years to expand across a four-state region, the source reports.
