$3,000 In Coins Stolen From Vending Machines, Police Nab Two Suspects

Police in West York, PA, have arrested two men in connection with a string of vending machine thefts in south-central Pennsylvania. The York Daily Record reports that since June 19, there have been eight thefts from Continental Vending Services’ machines in six jurisdictions. More than $3,000 in coins was stolen from various vending machines.

Authorities were able to use video surveillance to help determine the suspects. The source reports that one of the suspects was in possession of vending machine keys and admitted to at least five of the thefts.
