Blayne Housewright, 78, recently celebrated his 50-year anniversary working for Kingsport, TN-based Palace Vending. Housewright began working for Palace Vending in 1965 when he was 27 years old, reports local news source Times News. For the past 50 years Housewright has worked as a vending attendant, a route driver and a mechanic. The source reports that Housewright has no plans to retire soon.
In honor of his 50 years of service, Palace Vending will dedicate a special message to Housewright on several billboards in Kingsport this week. Palace Vending has been a leading supplier of vending machines and vending supplies for the Kingsport tri-cities area since 1946.
