(CHICAGO) June 3, 2015 – As NAMA’s first annual industry-wide Washington, DC advocacy event, NAMA Takes the Hill 2015, approaches, the association’s Government Affairs Division announced that the event has received the support of 27 sponsors so far, helping to underscore the industry’s response to the importance of this inaugural event, according to Eric Dell, NAMA SVP of Government Affairs.
“The excitement surrounding our sponsorship program just keeps building,” said Dell. “Our government affairs team is gratified to see the ‘buy-in’ of our grassroots advocacy program across all membership categories. NAMA Takes the Hill 2015 is designed to bring the vending and refreshment services industry to Washington to meet with their legislators and stress the importance of the industry in each congressional district. The goal is to make the industry’s presence known on Capitol Hill and educate Members of Congress on the industry through first-hand stories from industry leaders about their impact within each congressional district.
