CINCINNATI – May 19, 2015 - AdvancePierre™ Foods (APF), a nationally recognized, fully integrated producer and seller of sandwiches and value-added meats, adds two breakfast sandwiches – 2X Sausage & Cheese Biscuit and Breakfast Stacker – to its BIG AZ line.
Each sandwich is loaded with savory, cravable flavors served on a homestyle, fresh-made buttermilk biscuit. The 2X Sausage & Cheese Biscuit features two sausage patties and two slices of cheese, and the Breakfast Stacker is piled high with sausage, bacon, egg and cheese. The hand-assembled sandwiches are individually labeled and wrapped in crisp, white butcher paper for fresh-made appeal.

The addition of two sandwiches to BIG AZ breakfast offerings signifies the brand’s response to several growing consumer demands: hot breakfast options at convenience stores, satisfying meals high in protein and the convenience of hand-held meals.
The BIG AZ 2X Sausage & Cheese Biscuit and BIG AZ Breakfast Stacker will be available June 1. The sandwiches have a 14-day refrigerated, nine-month frozen, shelf life. They can be sold hot from a sandwich warmer or microwaved on demand from a cold case. The sandwiches are packed in retailer-friendly eight-count cases.
