TEMPE, AZ--(Marketwired - Dec 19, 2014) - American Green, Inc. (OTC PINK: ERBB) is excited to announce that after several months of field testing and critical upgrades including the integration of the Tomassi Intellectual Property, the machines, being produced by VE Global Vending (www.vegv.net) will begin shipping this month for use at the beginning of the new year in the first twelve locations in five states, some of which are taking multiple machines. The prototype machines at Herbal Elements and Doctors Orders will also be replaced.
After 12 months of extensive investigation, unique hardware configurations and custom software requirements to meet unique end-user processes, internal controls and governmental regulations, the challenge of building a complex network of vending machines planned to grow into the thousands is now realized.
"The first company to embrace our API and help us get the right machines to market was VE Global Vending, and we couldn't be more pleased with such a partner," says Stephen Shearin, American Green's chief operating officer. "From continuity in functionality and product varieties, to ensuring the devices meet the highest standards for safety, no one inside or outside the company could have predicted the the hurdles we would face. There are companies that want to enter this space, but the difficulties we've overcome and the intellectual property that's part of our process puts us light-years ahead of anyone daring to challenge ZaZZZ. Without our blessing in the verified-vending marketplace, a competitor's chances are slim to none."
VE CONNECT® smart vending machines are internet-connected devices with attention-grabbing interactive LED touchscreens, exciting vending apps, digital signage capabilities, and managed from the cloud.
Chris Goumas, Senior VP, partnerships and new business development at VE Global Vending says, "We're excited to create this solution and support American Green's strategic direction for developing and growing the ZaZZZ brand and vending machine program. Automating and integrating the entire purchase process for these dispensary locations took meticulous planning and will be a huge success."
Goumas adds, "This self-service model can include products such as retail, OTC pharmaceuticals, event tickets, snacks/food and beverages, and employee-needed products such as safety gear, logoed items and IT peripherals. And now cannabis products -- the sky's the limit!"
