Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. Initiates Rollout Of New Fresh Micro Market In Office Break Rooms

SAN DIEGO, Calif., Dec. 8, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. (OTC Markets:VEND), North America's leading healthy vending franchisor, announces the completion of 15 installations for its new fresh micro market, which debuted last month. The Company plans additional installations throughout the remainder of the month and into next year, with a goal of 250 installations by the end of 2015.

The rollout is being funded in part by a $1.5 million financing completed in September 2014. The financing will occur in tranches of $150,000, based on unit rollouts. The financing also provides the Company and the lender with an option to convert the debt into common stock. The conversion price is 85% of the fair market value, however not less than $1.28 per share.

Last month, Fresh Healthy Vending announced its partnership with eMobilePOS, a pioneer in mobile POS and cloud-based software-as-a-service, and LevelUp, a leader in mobile loyalty payments, to launch an integrated solution that allows Fresh micro market operators to process mobile payments and build loyalty direct from the unit's Apple iPad® POS system, a first for the healthy vending industry.

With this new integration, the eMobilePOS system provides full functionality for self-checkout at any Fresh micro market using iPad tablets programmed with QR code and credit card readers.

In addition to mobile payments and loyalty, the new Fresh app will provide customers with a unit-specific menu of micro market products, real-time in-app receipts, transaction history and personalized email notifications.
