Ohio Minimum Wage Increases To $8.10 Jan. 1, 2015

Operators and other businesses in Ohio are preparing to increase their employees’ wages by 15 cents beginning Jan. 1, 2015. Ohio’s minimum wage is set to increase to $8.10 starting on Jan.1, 2015, according to Toledo Blade. The state’s minimum wage is adjusted each year with inflation. However, the state’s minimum wage applies only to employers that gross at least $297,000 per year. Businesses making less than that amount pay a wage that is tied to the federal minimum wage.
