PepsiCo Receives Best Governance, Risk, Compliance Program Award

PepsiCo received the award for Best Governance, Risk and Compliance Program at the New York Stock Exchange Governance Services’ inaugural Governance, Risk & Compliance Leadership Awards, reported PepsiCo. The award recognizes “outstanding companies and individuals who have demonstrated noteworthy efforts in the areas of governance, risk, and compliance,” and “underscore the role that corporate governance plays in dictating a company’s success and a board’s contribution to long-term value,” according to the NYSE Governance Services Website. In November 2013, PepsiCo received the award for best overall governance, compliance and ethics program at Corporate Secretary magazine’s Corporate Governance Awards. Full article.
