Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. concludes March 2014 with sales bookings of 96 Fresh Healthy Vending machines to six new and two existing franchisees, as well as a sale to an existing corporate partner. The company finished its fiscal third quarter ended March 31, 2014 with sales bookings for 187 machines approximating $1,873,000 in anticipated future revenues. This represents an increase of 54 machines or $467,850 in anticipated future revenues when compared to the same quarter of the company’s prior fiscal year.
“We could not be more pleased with the outcome of this month’s sales; it truly speaks volumes for the vast opportunities that lie ahead for Fresh Healthy Vending and our growing franchise and corporate operations programs,” said Alex Kennedy, CEO of Fresh Healthy Vending, in a prepared statement.
The new business owners who purchased Fresh Healthy Vending franchises last month will own and operate machines in their respective territories within Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Connecticut, Virginia, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
“The immense opportunity that lies within the healthy vending industry right now is clear; the concept is booming,” said new Fresh Healthy Vending Franchisee Jason Harris. "What is most important is choosing the right company that takes this concept to new heights; Fresh Healthy Vending is doing just that and is dominating the market.”
Harris, who now owns 13 machines for operation in Hawaii, is one of six new franchisees to join the Fresh Healthy Vending team this month.
“With a sustainable business model for managing franchises and corporate operations, Fresh Healthy Vending is a company that I am proud to be a part of, as it flourishes both domestically and internationally,” said Harris. “It’s the tools Fresh Healthy Vending can provide to me, as a franchisee, that will allow me to better the overall well-being of my community. That’s where it really hits home for me.”
Included in the sales completed in March, was the sale of 10 Fresh Healthy Vending combo machines to 2014 Super Bowl Champion, Seattle Seahawks’ Michael Robinson. Continuously aspiring to encourage today’s youth to lead healthy lifestyles through knowledge and education, the Seattle Seahawks’ fullback will use his Fresh Healthy Vending franchise, Healthy Treats, to complement his youth-oriented foundation: Excel to Excellence.
“We’ve booked 187 and 178 machines sales representing approximately $1,873,000 and $1,861,000 in anticipated future revenues during our third and second quarter of this fiscal year. These appear to be the initial results from the restructuring activities that we undertook during our first fiscal quarter and we expect to begin realizing increases in revenues in future quarters as we execute and deliver machines against these sales bookings. March 2014 was the best single month of sales in over two years for the company,” stated Mark Cole, the company’s chief financial officer.
