AdvancePierre Foods announced that Charles Aardema is its new senior vice president of human resources. Aardema comes to the company with significant experience in talent and performance management, executive development, employee relations and cultural and business integration during growth or acquisition. He will report to CEO John Simons.
Aardema is currently the vice president, human resources for totes>>Isotoner in Cincinnati, Ohio and held the same position prior to that for NewPage Corp. in Dayton, Ohio. He has spent the majority of his career in the paper industry, where he held positions of progressive responsibility with the Mead Corp. and MeadWestvaco.
He holds a B.A. from Hope College and a master’s degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University, and will start with AdvancePierre Foods Dec. 19, 2013.
