NAMA’s Foundation announced that the deadline to apply for its 2014 scholarship program is in less than two weeks. The NAMA Foundation Scholarship Program will award post-high school non-renewable scholarships. Applicants must be a full-time employee or the son/daughter/legal dependent of a full-time employee of a NAMA member company and be sponsored by that company.
“These scholarships are a significant member benefit,” said Joann DeNardis, NAMA’s director of education/certification, in a prepared statement. “NAMA values education and we’re thrilled about the opportunity to help the college dreams of our members and their children come true.”
Applications are currently being accepted now through the deadline date of Oct. 15, 2013. An applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a graduating high school senior or student enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) in a college undergraduate program at an accredited college or university
- Must maintain and verify a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
- Must be an American citizen
Winners will be determined through a random drawing of all eligible applicants on Nov. 18, 2013. Winners will be contacted and announced on the NAMA Website. To learn more and download a scholarship application, visit NAMA’s Website.
