The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) announced that Edward McGoey has been named vice president, finance and administration. In this role, McGoey will lead the financial activities of the association and foundation, including planning, analysis, reporting, treasury management and information technology.
Most recently, he served as director of finance and administration/CFO for L. Craven & Sons, a purchaser and supplier of consumer goods based in Melrose Park, Ill.
For 15 years, beginning in 1990, McGoey was finance director for M&M Mars in both the New Jersey and Chicago locations. His responsibilities included financial leadership roles in supply chain and sales operations.
McGoey has also held financial and operational roles with other consumer packaged goods companies, including Dole Foods and Chiquita Brands. He also was CFO for United Way of Metropolitan Chicago.
McGoey earned a masters in business administration – finance from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio and his undergraduate degree in economics/accounting from Southern Connecticut State University. He and his wife live in Wheaton, Ill. and have four adult children.
