Oberkfell to step down as IFMA chief

May 27, 2021

Ending a 12-year run at the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association, Larry Oberkfell announced that he will be stepping down as the group’s president and chief executive when his contract expires at the close of 2021.

Until then, Oberkfell will continue to lead the association and its education foundation, and will assist IFMA’s board in the search for a new chief executive.

IFMA’s board has hired executive recruitment firm Russell Reynolds Associates to work with its search committee for Oberkfell's successor. For more information, contact Stephanie Tomaso and Andrew Hayes at [email protected].

Headquartered in Chicago, 65-year-old IFMA advocates for manufacturers of foodservice equipment.
