Evergreen Vending Acquires S & S Vending Of Oregon

Feb. 22, 2017

(TUKWILA, WA; February 22, 2017) – Evergreen Vending – a vending operator in the Pacific Northwest – announces today that the company has acquired all of the assets of S&S Vending of Tualatin, Oregon from Dave and Rhonda Brown as of January 31, 2017.

“We are very excited about this opportunity to continue to expand our market footprint here in the Northwest with this acquisition and to uphold the values and customer satisfaction that Dave and Rhonda Brown have built over the years,” said Jim Brinton, Founder of Evergreen Vending.

The Brown’s originally purchased the 60 year-old locally owned vending company in 1990 when the founding owner, Walt Skuzeski, decided to retire. Dave Brown started as a Route Driver for S&S Vending in 1971, and moved up through the company over the next 19 years. When the founding owners decided to retire, they passed the family-run business onto another local family to continue their business legacy. Then, in late 2016, the Brown’s decided to retire after 45 years in the industry, and, in turn, decided to pass the business onto another local and family-run business in the Pacific Northwest to further carry-on the company’s legacy.

“We have known Jim for the past 25 years and have seen him achieve very impressive results in growing his business both regionally and nationally. His business philosophy, values and ethics are so very similar to our own. We feel comfortable in entrusting our customers into their care and to uphold customer confidence and satisfaction,” said Dave Brown.

“Dave and Rhonda are both former Presidents of the Northwest Automatic Vending Association (NAVA) and have been very active in the industry’s local associations over the past 20 years while continuing to grow their own business. Their contributions to NAVA and the industry will certainly be missed. Fortunately, their son Jason Brown has chosen to stay active in the industry and has joined our Evergreen team and we are excited to welcome him to the team,” stated Jim Brinton, Founder of Evergreen Vending.
