Cantaloupe Systems Adds Industry Leader Elyssa Allahyar-Steiner To Head Its Marketing Team
San Francisco, CA – February 7, 2017 –Cantaloupe Systems, the vending industry’s premier provider of cloud-based, mobile technologies that deliver an integrated end-to-end vending, Office Coffee Service (OCS) delivery and Micro Markets solution, today announced that it has hired known industry leader, Elyssa Allahyar-Steiner to head up its marketing team as the company continues to grow into markets including Cashless, Micro Markets and other Unattended Retail segments.
Elyssa Allahyar-Steiner is joining Cantaloupe Systems following a 6-year career with Avanti Markets. As Director of Marketing for Cantaloupe Systems, Elyssa will assume responsibility in developing and implementing marketing strategies to strengthen the company’s demand generation, marketing communications and product marketing initiatives.

Allahyar-Steiner received her bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Washington, and began working for Avanti Markets to assist in the on-boarding of new licensees across the country. Within her first two years, she excelled into the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Avanti Markets Inc. She achieved another milestone in 2014 by obtaining her master’s degree in Communications and Leadership from Gonzaga University.
Becoming one of the youngest people to achieve this level of recognition, Allahyar-Steiner was voted 2013 Automatic Merchandiser Readers’ Choice Manufacturer Representative of the Year. Since then, she has become an active member in the industry serving on NAMA’s Government Affairs Committee, a member of ELN (Emerging Leaders Network), a member of WIN (Women of the Industry), attended NAMA’s Executive Development Program in 2015, and most recently took over as Chair of ELN for her 2016- 2017 term.
