Utah Healthcare Facility To Set Sugar Limit On Vending Products

At the Intermountain Healthcare Facility based in Salt Lake City, UT, cafes and vending machines are being asked to change from traditional items to healthier choices, specifically choices with less sugar, according to Good4Utah.com.  The change will apply to the 22 healthcare facilities and 185 clinics. What products will be placed in the vending machines and on the cafe menu is still up for debate, but there will be a restriction on sugar, reported the source. Among possible options are diet soda, unsweetened teas and fruit flavored water.
