Uber Discontinues Lunch Delivery Service

Oct. 11, 2016

Transportation network company Uber’s “Instant Delivery” lunch service has been halted in several U.S. cities, according to GeekWire. The service, which is part of Uber’s UberEats app, launched one year ago and was connected with the company’s traditional transportation app.

Customers had the ability to choose from rotating lunch dishes from local restaurants and Uber guaranteed delivery in 10 minutes or less.

Instant Delivery is no longer available on the UberEats app; rather, the company is reportedly now focusing on restaurant delivery.
