MD-DC Vending Announces Scholarship Winners

The Maryland/DC Vending Association is pleased to announce the five recipients of the 2013 student scholarships, in the amount of $1,500 each.

Winners include:

Sierra Gurley, sponsored by Coca-Cola, Alexandria, Va.

Meredith Bechler, sponsored by Burdette Beckmann, Hollywood, Fla.

Anna Burke, sponsored by Thayer Distribution, Gibbstown N.J.

Rogert Andrickson, sponsored by Jades Vending, Rockville, Md.

Carolyn Bidding, sponsored by DeMitri-Chesapeake Sales, White Marsh, Md.

Children and legal dependents of an owner or employee of a MD-DC Vending Association member company, who are accepted or currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college, vocational or trade school, were eligible to apply. The five winners were chosen at random during the association’s annual meeting on May 31, 2013 in Cambridge, Md.
