Reports of the health benefits found in cocoa as well as new chocolate products lower in fat and calories are growing a new market segment in the U.S. called “healthier” chocolate, according to Reuters. Nestle USA said its lower calorie chocolate line released two years ago was the best debut ever. International chocolate maker Barry Callebaut reports products with health benefits now make up 5 percent of its sales. Full article.
