AdvancePierre Foods has unveiled a new look for many of its popular Fast Choice® brand sandwiches. In response to consumer feedback, the company has converted sandwich items previously packaged in opaque printed film to clear printed packaging that allows consumers to easily see the quality product before they buy it.
Known for its mid-size sandwiches with great taste and value, the Fast Choice line will continue to provide the products consumers have grown to love, while improving product visibility and trust. When it comes to purchase intent and product satisfaction, packaging does matter. AdvancePierre is now making it easier for consumers across the country to make their purchase decisions with confidence through the use of clear packaging across the line.
"Consumers need to feel comfortable with the quality, size and freshness of the food they are purchasing. We are constantly reaching out to our consumer base to obtain their feedback on our products, so we can provide the products they desire in the package format that sells best in the market," said Tony Schroder, president of convenience channels at AdvancePierre Foods in a prepared statement.
AdvancePierre also announced that it is consolidating its Hot Diggity Subs line of sandwiches into its Fast Bites® product line, which will provide consumers with a broader selection of products under this single value brand. Items impacted by this transition include the BBQ Pork Sub, Spicy Pork Sausage Sub and the Italian Beef Charbroil Sub, all of which are now available under the Fast Bites name.
