Monster Energy Drinks To Be Marketed As Beverages, Not Supplements

Monster Energy Corp. has recently announced a change to how it will market its products, selling them as beverages instead of dietary supplements, according to CNN. The change was suggested by the American Beverage Association and will require Monster to add caffeine content to the labels of each can. However, as a beverage, Monster would no long have to notify the U.S. Food and Drug Administration of any adverse events linked to its products. Full article.
