New Jersey Proposes Minimum Wage Increase

New Jersey Senate Democrats are moving forward a bill to increase the minimum wage from $7.25 an hour to $8.50, according to Philly.com. The Senate President Stephen Sweeney called for a constitutional amendment that would circumvent the governor and ask voters for approval if the Governor didn’t agree to the bill. Full article.
