Pepsi Makes Its Own Plastic Bottles In Latham, N.Y. Plant

The Pepsi Beverages Co. has spent $10 million to start making its own plastic beverage bottles in its Latham, N.Y. plant, according to the Times Union. The energy efficient process is expected to save 2.4 kilowatt hours of energy. Additional energy will be saved because the bottles will no longer need to be transported to the plant for filling. Full article.
